I took a moment away from working on the second volume of my Drawing Syllabus (Volume 2 focuses on anatomy), to do an anthropomorphic sketch. I thought I'd share an image that provides some insight into my process, and the value of how anatomy translates to the final render.

At the National Portrait Gallery
Going through pads of paper and thought I'd share this two minute academic study that I did at a life drawing session at the National Portrait Gallery in London. The theater is lovely, though it's not an ideal set up to draw in unless you draw on a small surface, as seating is quite packed. But it's a nice experience and the gallery is always worth a visit!

This was a really fun interview I was given the opportunity to do for Character Design References! They ask great questions, I really enjoyed sharing insight into my journey and process.

Petrichor
I know it's been a while since I've posted any artwork. Everyone who knows me personally knows that I am most probably the worst person in the Western world when it comes to sharing personal work on social media. My goal (as usual) is to be a bit more consistent this year!
I've been traveling a lot this last year for work, and adventuring with Doctor Who and the Tardis has been keeping me company during my real life adventures as I have been re-immersing myself in anticipation of Season 11! Here is a little something for the Whovians out there.
