Happy Anniversary Casse-Noisette

Today is the anniversary of the Nutcracker ballet.  I thought I'd share some old sketches I did of some of my fellow dancers that I was able to sketch while we were in class together, or by their performances on stage.

Aslan

Just a couple sharpie marker sketches of a live Siberian Lynx that was brought into the studio this summer.  His name is Aslan.  It was an incredible opportunity to draw such a beautiful animal up close!

I love drawing Danielle.  She is a beautiful drawing in herself.  She's such a gift to any artist.

Danielle is such a beautiful model.  We do ballet classes together.  She has so much grace and is an incredible muse.

I love drawing Habiba.  She's a very expressive model and so inspiring to draw!

Day 1 as a blogger

Just came back from the CTN in LA, full of inspiration!  I can't think of a better time to start a blog and join the incredible community of artists out there. :)
